Dear Friend, A group of American truckers is set to launch The People’s Convoy, a coast-to-coast journey from California to the Beltway region. The journey begins on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at 10:00 am (Pacific Time) from the Adelanto Stadium in Southern California. The convoy's stated mission is to end the declaration of national emergency concerning the COVID-19 pandemic and restore our nation's constitution. "The last 23 months of the COVID-19 pandemic have been a rough road for all Americans to travel: spiritually, emotionally, physically, and — not least — financially," the organizers said in a press release. "With the advent of the vaccine and workable therapeutic agents, along with the hard work of so many sectors that contributed to declining COVID-19 cases and severity of illness, it is now time to re-open the country."
